VACANCY – STAFF NURSES – PERMANENT
St David’s Hospice is an 11 bedded and 10 day care adult Hospice, which has recently undergone expansion to increase to a 14 bedded unit. The Hospice provides excellent specialist palliative care to the communities of North West Wales.
We are currently looking for dynamic, experienced Staff Nurses to complement our existing multi-disciplinary team. Previous experience in palliative care and the relevant qualification would be advantageous for the post, together with a willingness for further study.
This role may be 30 hours or 37.5 hours per week working between our Day Care and Inpatient Units, including working day and night shift rotas.
The successful applicants must be flexible, have good communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to speak Welsh would be desirable, have a passion for quality in care and the belief that the patient and their family are at the centre of everything we do.

Part Time Clerical Officer – Clinical Services
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, well organised Clerical Officer to play an important role providing support to the Hospice Medical Services.
The role will be to provide cover 10.00a.m. – 3.30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday and be flexible to be able to cover absence within the team.
The successful applicant should possess excellent communication skills and proven organisational skills, to manage a varied workload. Must be an accurate audio/copy typist with a good knowledge of medical terminology and have experience of maintaining and updating information on databases.
You should possess a minimum GCSE English Grade C or above, including passes in English and Maths.
Hours of Work: 15 hours per week (1/2 hour unpaid break)
Salary: £9.08 per hour

There is a vacancy for a Relief Team Leader, the successful person will be required to provide cover in our Hospice Shops and Distribution Centre as required by the Shops Coordinator/Assistant Shops Coordinator. The role is to include weekend cover.
Hours of Work: 21 hours per week
Salary: £7.08 per hour.
