St David’s Hospice cares for over 400 local families each year. Over 73 pence of every £1 we spend goes directly on patient care, and our clinical services currently cost over £4,500 per day or £187.50 per hour. There are over 80 paid staff and we have the support of over 250 fantastic volunteers who do an amazing job.
What your donation could buy
Although we do have to purchase new (or replace) equipment periodically, our biggest challenge is meeting the day-to-day running costs for the care of our patients. Here are some examples of what your gift could fund:
