Three events, one weekend

Calling all runners and walking enthusiasts – St David’s Hospice invites you to take part in the Snowdonia Trail Series, a bespoke running and walking event open to all.

It is envisaged to raise significant funds for the local charity which provides hospice care to adult patients and their families living with life limiting illnesses in Conwy, Gwynedd and Anglesey.

Suitable for both runners and walkers, the trail series has three separate events in some of the most stunning locations in North Wales.

To kick start the weekend, the first is a 10km night run around Llanberis’ Llyn Padarn on Friday 23rd September (6pm), followed Saturday 24th, by a 10am start in the picturesque Betws y Coed (10km), with the finale on Sunday 25th September to the stunning Aber Falls (7km) which follows the North Wales Coastal path.

All participants must be over the age of 16. Registration for walkers is £16 per event, which includes a medal and £22 runners, which includes chip timing and a medal.  Alternatively, you can take part in all three events for a reduced entry fee: £39 (walkers) £49 (runners).

For more information or to register, please visit the St David’s Hospice website https://register.enthuse.com/ps/event/SnowdoniaTrailSeries or email rhian.jacobs@stdavidshospice.org.uk

** PLEASE NOTE DATE CHANGE ** – new dates of September 23rd, 24th & 25th.
There have been several obstacles that we have faced over with regards to the March 2022 dates. One of these was the recent storms, which caused obstructions to our planned routes. Despite working closely with the local councils clearing and rerouting the events have proved difficult and unfortunately not viable.

Another factor is the unusually early lambing season. As we are a local charity and provide care for our local communities, we do not want to cause any disruptions to our loyal supporters by causing any avoidable stress to their livestock.

All entries (before 2 March 2022) have been emailed and automatically transferred to the new dates of September 23rd, 24th & 25th. If you are unable to attend these dates, please contact andrew.everley@stdavidshospice.org.uk

Thank you to our amazing supporters and the community for the love and support that you show to St David’s Hospice, we really appreciate it and hope that you can understand why we have made this difficult choice.
