The Welsh 3000’s is one of Wales’ most iconic mountain challenges. On Saturday 12 September 2020 St David’s Hospice participants will brave the night and day to summit all 15 of Snowdonia’s 3000ft peaks within a 24 hour period – and no accompanying transport.

The number of miles undertaken on this challenge usually totals between 24 and 30 depending upon the chosen route and should only be undertaken by experienced mountain walkers. The terrain is very rocky, and both uphill and downhill and should not be underestimated.

The registration fee to take part is £150 which includes all safety aspects of the event and will be run in conjunction with Anelu Aim Higher employing highly qualified mountain leaders. For more information please visit www.mountain-hill-courses.co.uk

You do not need to have extensive knowledge about the 15 Snowdonia peaks in terms of route planning but you must be fit enough to be able to take part. For this reason, a compulsory mountain day is included with entry to monitor progress and ensure that participants are fully prepared to endure the challenge before the day itself.

There are limited places for this specialised event so to avoid disappointment, please register in plenty of time.
