St David’s Hospice is looking for an experienced event’s coordinator to join the fundraising team at an exciting time in the charities development. No two days are the same at St David’s Hospice and the successful post holder will need to be a creative quick thinker to be able to execute charity balls, mass participation and sporting events as well as profile fundraising raising activities.
The person we are looking for will be a highly organised and enthusiastic self-starter, who is commercially-minded and target driven. You will have experience in events management or a related role with the ability to manage major events from beginning to end not limited to preplanning, marketing, risk assessing, operations and post event evaluation.
Working within the wider fundraising team, the successful applicant will be responsible for delivering a calendar of events to maximise the income generated for the Hospice and to raise the profile of the Hospices work within the communities it serves by engaging with new audiences and supporters.
