DANCERS RAISE £255 FOR ST DAVID’S HOSPICE IN MEMORY OF BENLLECH GRANDAD

Members of a local dance group used their passion for dancing to support the work of St David’s Hospice.
The Linzi Grace School of Dance held an evening of performance at the Benllech Community and Ex-Servicemen’s Hall to raised funds for the local adult hospice.
Linzi’s grandad John Bevan from Benllech was cared for at the St David’s Hospice in October 2017. He owned the local decorating shop “The Paint Pot” and was a founding member of the “Melody Makers” who performed many shows in the community hall in Benllech, where he lived.
Tutor Linzi Grace said: “It was great performance. We hope that the money helps St David’s Hospice in every way possible.”
St David’s Hospice is a local charity providing hospice care to adult patients across Conwy, Gwynedd and Anglesey. It provides free, high-quality, specialist palliative care to patients with advanced illnesses, their family and carers and is currently planning to convert an eight bay ward at Penrhos Stanley Hospital, Holyhead into four single-bedroom units for Inpatient care.
Community Fundraiser, James Wilde said:
“Thank you to the Linzi Grace School Of Dance for entertaining the Benllech community. This was a fantastic way to continue Linzi’s grandfather’s legacy in the area and helping to raise vital funds and awareness of St David’s Hospice in Benllech and Anglesey.”
