Following the merger of St David’s Hospice and Hospice at Home, Gwynedd and Anglesey in 2018, the local adult hospice service proudly reveals its new branding.

The charity will function under the name St David’s Hospice, with a new look logo, featuring figures in a heart shape and symbolises the people in the local community who are at the heart of their organisation.

The purple and green logo is an evolution of the previous charity logos and was inspired by the continuous care and compassion they have both provided for people with advanced illnesses and their families, carers and loved ones.

Hospice care at St David’s is always evolving and adapting to ensure the very best end of life care is available to all.

St David’s Hospice currently delivers its services to the whole of North West Wales. It has a specialist Inpatient Unit and Therapy Centre in Llandudno as well as a Day Care Centre at Hafan Menai, Bangor.

A new development for a four-bed satellite hospice in Holyhead is set to open in Summer 2019. St David’s Hospice also helps provide the Hospice at Home service in Gwynedd and Anglesey; all of which is free of charge, thanks to the kind generosity of the local community’s fundraising efforts.

Chief Executive, Trystan Pritchard said:

“We are delighted to reveal our new, brighter, fresher and modern logo. Following feedback from internal focus groups of staff, volunteers and supporters, we identified that the current logos of the two charities was in need of re-development. We have taken this on board and employed a new logo and vibrant colours which represent the values of our service.

“We are extremely excited about this new chapter of hospice care in North West Wales and the opportunities it holds. It is hoped that our new identity will stand out and help us to create a stronger voice in the community.”
