Christmas for Cheryl Jones and David Owen will be a time of big celebrations, not only festive but also of love and happiness as they celebrate ‘tying the knot’.

The owners of the Beachside Guest House, Llandudno will be getting married at Bodlondeb, Conwy on 27th December. Instead of receiving gifts, they have chosen to ask their wedding guests to make a donation to St David’s Hospice.

Bride-to-be Cheryl said:

“We want to give something back to say a very special thank you to St David’s Hospice.

“The Hospice staff gave exceptional care and treatment to my mum Betty and David’s dad Idris, who both spent time at the Hospice before they sadly died.

“Because they can’t be with us to share our special day we want to support the St David’s Hospice in their memory. Our mum and dad are forever in our hearts.”

St David’s Hospice is a local charity providing end of life care, all year round, free of charge to the people of North West Wales.

Conwy Area Fundraiser James Wilde said:

“Every Christmas and of course throughout the year, the charity’s staff and volunteers work around the clock to provide vital care and support for the patients and their families.

“The kind donations from Cheryl and David will mean so much for those in need of our care – thank you”.
