Llandudno Run raises £1400 for Adult Hospice

Organisers of the Annual Nick Beer 10K Run, Kay and John Hatton and Carla Green, recently presented a cheque of £1400 to St David’s Hospice as the proceeds from the race day. The amount included a generous £900 donation from the North Wales Road Runners Club (NWRRC) who put on the event and the proceeds for a fun run.

Held on 18th July 2021, the 29th Nick Beer Run saw over 500 take part in a run around the Great Orme and in partnership with NWRRC, St David’s Hospice organised a 1km Family Fun Run along Llandudno Promenade with over 75 fun runners.

St David’s Conwy Community Fundraiser, Adrian Owen said:

“St David’s Hospice would like to thank Kay and John Hatton along with members of the NWRRC for their fantastic support and the efforts they made to organise the event.

“We enjoyed a fantastic summer’s day on Llandudno Promenade in July and would like to thank everyone who took part in the Fun Run, the main 10K Race and who visited us at our Great Orme Goat Merchandise Pop-Up shop on the Promenade.”

In 2022 the Nick Beer 10K Run will be celebrating its 30th Anniversary on Sunday 13th February and St David’s Hospice will again be organising the accompanying Fun Run.
