Nine year old, Millie Woodyatt a pupil at Ysgol Craig Y Don took part in the Llandudno Boxing Day Dip 2019 and has raised £170 for her chosen charity St David’s Hospice.

The annual sea dip, for which the temperature was a chilly -3°c, saw hundreds of bathers in fancy dress running towards the water for a very refreshing swim.

Millie, who was joined by Llandudno Mayor Cllr Angela O’Grady, has been a supporter of the local hospice through her year as Llandudno’s ‘Miss Alice’ helping at many other events such as the Christmas Fair.

Conwy Area Fundraiser, James Wilde said:

“Thank you to Millie ‘Miss Alice’ for her continued support of the Hospice it really is appreciated.

“The money raised will go towards supporting the care we give to patients and their families here at St David’s Hospice.”
