Volunteering in a hospice can be extremely rewarding and St David’s Hospice has a variety of opportunities on offer.
It is an ideal way to share the skills you have or learn new ones! Not only is it diverse and satisfying, but by playing a role in your local community, volunteering can become a fulfilling part of your life and lead to new opportunities and friendships.
Volunteer Co-ordinator, Lou Barber said:
“As the Hospice continues to grow its services and strive to offer more to our patients, families and carers, we are always looking for new volunteers to join us.
“There are volunteering roles across the whole organisation, whether at the Hospice in Llandudno, Therapy Centre in Bangor, in one of our 26 charity shops or at the many fundraising events we organise throughout the year.
“If you’ve ever thought of giving a little of your time to help others, we could have what you’re looking for.”
