The Whistlestop Motorcycle Club have once again enjoyed a busy year of fundraising for local and national charities.

Based at the Whistlestop cafe on Rhuddlan’s HTM Business Park, they meet regularly on a Thursday evening for bike night.

This year the club members chose to donate £300 of the money raised to St David’s Hospice in memory of Terry Williams. Terry passed away at the Hospice last year and was the club’s much loved and respected official photographer.

Club member Peter Haybittle explained that over the year the money was raised through a charity bike run, raffles and donations at the Whistlestop Café.

He said: “This money is donated in memory of Terry Williams for the fantastic care that he received from St David’s Hospice.

“As a club, we hope that the donation is used to give the best care to patients and their families at St David’s.”

St David’s Hospice delivers specialist care free of charge at our Inpatient Unit in Llandudno, Therapy Centres in Bangor and Llandudno, as well as in the comfort of patient’s own homes via our Hospice at Home and Outreach services.
