St David’s Hospice invites fun runners to take part in a family run along Llandudno promenade to raise funds for end-of-life care in Northwest Wales.
The Fun Run takes place on Sunday 18th July and is a part of the Nick Beer 10k Memorial Race Day which has been given the go-ahead after the government restrictions were lifted.
Open to all age groups, the family event is an easy 1000 metre route along the promenade and can be run, jogged or walked at your own pace. At the finishing line every participant will receive a medal to congratulate them on their efforts.
Adrian Owen, St David’s Hospice Conwy Community Fundraiser said:
“We are really appreciative of the continued support from the North Wales Road Runners Club.
“This fun run enables children and their families who normally spectate to participate, adding to the fun and atmosphere of the day.
“The first fun run took place in 2019. It was a great success, with over 40 children and parents running and raising just over £500.”
The event, which is accompanying the 29th 10k Nick Beer Road Race, starts at 9.30am (half an hour before the 10k at 10am).
