NORTH WALES CRICKET LEAGUE PRESENTATION

THANK YOU! Over thirty cricket clubs gathered for the first North Wales Cricket League presentation evening and have raised over £275 for their local adult hospice.
Members of clubs coming from Pwllheli to Wrexham, held an evening at The Kinmel in October and organised raffles and games to raise funds.
The league Secretary, Maggie Smith said:
“Our group talked about where the funds should go and agreed that it should stay locally. Many of us know personally of the care at St David’s Hospice.
It costs over £3 million each year to deliver the services at St David’ Hospice. The majority of this comes from community fundraising such as the North Wales Cricket League’s evening. None of these costs are passed to the patients, their families or carers, because St David’s Hospice care is free to all.
