Reach the Snowdon summit with St David’s Hospice

Local hospice seeks supporters to join in a sponsored Snowdon Challenge on Friday 13th October.
Working in partnership with ‘Climb Snowdon’, St David’s Hospice is providing the opportunity to take on Wales’ highest mountain (3,560 ft) and conquer one of UK’s most iconic climbs.
It is an event for all abilities, with qualified group leaders from a dedicated, locally based company who will lead you to the summit safely and enjoyably. The route will follow a number of well-known paths, starting from Llanberis at 8am.
Hospice Community and Events Fundraising Manager, Andrew Everley said:
“Your day on Snowdon will be a memorable one. As you reach the top, you will not only be greeted by the reward of breath-taking views of the rugged scenery, but also the great feeling of achievement and satisfaction. Plus by taking on this challenge St David’s Hospice can continue to care for local people.”
St David’s Hospice provides hospice care to adult patients across Conwy, Gwynedd and Anglesey. They deliver free, high-quality, specialist palliative care to patients with advanced illnesses, their family and carers.
Entry for this fundraising event is £35 per person, which includes a St David’s branded buff (for all weathers), fully qualified mountain guides for the day, light snacks, a bottle of water and completion medal. Minimum sponsorship is £50 per person. Minimum age to take part is 12 years old.
