Volunteers from the Llandudno Magistrates Court Tea Bar have recently presented a cheque for £5000 to St David’s Hospice.
The money, which is raised from the profits of the refreshments sold at the Tea Bar, will directly benefit adults in need of end of life care from across Conwy, Gwynedd and Anglesey.
The Tea Bar, which maintained its five-star food hygiene rating in February, is open 9 am until 12 noon, five days a week. It provides a much-valued service to those who attend the court, along with those who work there.
Janet Magill, Head of Retail and Facilities at the Hospice gave thanks to the team for their hard work and dedication.
“It’s a fantastic achievement. They started fundraising for the Hospice over sixteen years ago and the amount raised has accumulated to an outstanding £65,000 – well done!”
