That’s Entertainment! – Glan Conwy Pantomime Group raises £2000 for local adult hospice

On Friday 13th May, the Glan Conwy Pantomime Group and friends performed “That’s Entertainment – a tribute to Stuart Llan’s Mr Entertainment” to help raise funds for St David’s Hospice who helped care for Stuart.

Organised by Ian Morris and Sharon Doleman, over 100 people enjoyed an evening of music, dancing, and laughter at the Church House in Glan Conwy to pay tribute to Stuart who was heavily involved with the pantomimes and received wonderful care at St David’s Hospice last year. The sell-out show helped raise £2,000 towards St David’s Hospice and £240 towards the Church House.

Hosted by Ian Morris, the audience enjoyed performances from Matthew Mitchell, Andrea Higgins, Scilla Pearson, Erin Dolan, Sophie Hadwin-Bergeson, Emma Wilkinson, Phil March, Kerry Filer, Megan-Haf Hughes, The Christine Roberts Dancers, Tracy Holland-Hughes and Sharon Doleman who ensured the audience were thoroughly entertained by the cast.

The group recently presented a cheque to St David’s Hospice Conwy Community Fundraiser Adrian Owen, Adrian thanks the group and said:

“I am always amazed by the way the communities that St David’s Hospice serve, come together to run events, and raise much needed funds. The Panto Group of Glan Conwy as well as local residents have shown fantastic ongoing support to St David’s and the amount raised from their recent ‘That’s Entertainment’ evening is truly remarkable. Thank you very much!”

Ian, Sharon and the cast would like to thank the Church House team for the catering and organising the raffle and to everyone who supported the evening helping to raise a fantastic amount for St David’s Hospice, a charity close to all our hearts.
