The St David’s Hospice Daisy Garden – Recovery campaign
The St David’s Daisy Garden is a very special way you can be involved with the recovery of St David’s Hospice after COVID-19.
For a minimum donation of £22.00 you can purchase a very special Daisy flower, which has been designed bespoke for St David’s Hospice by The British Ironworks Centre in Shropshire, to help raise vital funds for the Hospice in these challenging times.
Why a Daisy you may ask?
We have chosen the Daisy flower since it symbolises innocence, purity and “new beginnings” which we think it vital as we look to the future.
The special Daisy is made from metal and coated with a durable paint so that it can be placed outside all year round. If you don’t have a garden this unique flower can also be enjoyed indoors. The colours represent our St David’s Hospice colours making this flower entirely unique to the Daisy Garden Recovery Campaign.
The concept of the Daisy creation also goes beyond raising crucial funds. Each flower pays a special tribute to those we have lost in a heartfelt and very beautiful way.
All Daisies have to weather some kind of storm. By purchasing a flower, you can remember your loved ones in these challenging times and will also be part of St David’s Hospice history by helping the Hospice to recover after COVID-19.
Please note that due to The British Ironworks Centre being closed due to COVID19 we don’t expect to be able to deliver your Daisy until the end of July.
Minimum donation of £22 includes postage costs
Size: Total height of the daisy is 50 cm and the flower-head is 17 cm in diameter
