The St David’s Hospice Lottery Team are in the throes of organising their New Year Draw.

This year, instead of the annual Christmas draw, the team are running a New Year Raffle, ideal for helping get rid of those January blues. There are three prizes to win with the 1st prize winner receiving £2000. A great way to start the year!

The winning numbers will be drawn on Monday 21st January 2019, a day often known as ‘Blue Monday’. The early response draw (for all those who have returned their tickets by the 14th December) has taken place with the winner receiving a £100 gift card.

All profits from the raffle go towards St David’s Hospice which delivers specialist care to adult patients with advanced illnesses or those in need of end of life care and their families.

Head of Fundraising, Margaret Hollings said:

“As 2018 draws to a close we look back on the year just past and want to say a huge thank you to all the St David’s Hospice Lottery players that have helped us to provide loving care for patients both in the hospice and at home throughout Gwynedd, Anglesey and Conwy.

“Your kindness and support through playing the Lottery, such as the New Year Raffle, has meant that more than 1,000 people have been directly helped as well as support given to their families and friends.”

Tickets cost just £1 each. If you are a regular lottery player, tickets will have been sent through the post and the stubs and payments are to be returned by Monday 14th January 2019.

Alternatively, tickets are available from the Lottery Office by calling 01492 877999 or by popping into the Hospice on Abbey Rd, Llandudno LL30 2EN.
